The Canadian Rockies are an amazing place to explore, It's breathtaking scenery is sure to wow the most demanding taste in the world. Our stops will include the beautiful town of Canmore, Lake Minnewanka which Banff's largest lake, Two Jack Lake which offers breathtaking scenery anytime of the day. Lake Louise will definitely show off its natural glamour, and the many sights along the way will help to create a lifetime memory. You will have plenty of time to shop and taste the local flavours at the Town of Banff where you just might even find Bigfoot! We will also showcase a couple of our favourite places in between stops From mid June to mid October you will stop at the spectacular and must see Moraine Lake! This is my favourite summer lake in all of the parks, you'll feel as if you are seeing heaven on earth as we drive through the Valley of the Ten Peaks! This experience is about wowing you all day! We'll adapt your day according to wildlife sightings, weather conditions, and traffic flow for better enjoyment. Our small groups are up to 10 guests and your day will last 10 to 12 hours depending on the season. Your adventure will start from the moment we pick you up in Downtown Calgary or Canmore, until we drop you off again at the end of the day! If you need to be dropped off in Banff at the end of the tour we can gladly accommodate you and a small piece of luggage.

Escape the crowds for an afternoon and come join us (ROAM Outdoor Adventure co) as we provide private access to various slot canyons on the east side of Zion via a beautiful UTV drive. Unlike our other airbnb experience, this one does not include any rappelling/canyoneering but instead, we will only hike and explore some amazing slot canyons. Have your camera's ready because these canyons are beautiful beyond measure! Other tour companies shuttle you in vans like cattle...We drive you in off road vehicles! Which means we go places that they can't and we have a lot more fun getting there :-) This experience coincides perfectly as pit stop between Bryce and Zion. We provide all the necessary equipment required for a safe and enjoyable experience! Be greeted in our speakeasy style tasting room before a tour through our distillery with custom stills. Learn through tasting our whiskey-focused spirits and pick one for your custom built Old Fashioned cocktail. We can be flexible on times for this event, please let us know if you would like to request a different start time. We can schedule a start time up anywhere between noon and 7:30. Colorado at it's finest! Enjoy a magical sunset behind snowy peaks and a 1.5-2.5 hour easy/moderate hike. We'll stop for a break (feel free to bring snacks and drinks along), and will end the hike before it's completely dark. Transportation can be provided from the meeting spot to the trailhead for up to 4 guests; we encourage people to bring their own transportation. Guests who provide their own transportation and help drive others are eligible for a $10 refund. All level hikers are welcome but hikers should be in good physical shape and able to walk uphill for 1-2 hours at high altitude. Minimum group size is 2 hikers. We will teach you how to milk a cow. *At the beginning we allow you time to spend with the animals. Petting, brushing, or just hanging out with them. *Next we take you through what we feed our animals and how we care for them. We can talk about what goes into the cleanliness of the process and getting everything ready. *We will then go through the experience of milking the cow (whether by hand or with the machine, you decide). Allowing you to do as much of the work as you feel comfortable with. *Afterwards we will strain the milk and get it cooled and clean up. *Before you leave we will give you the opportunity to taste any of the products from our farm with the option to purchase milk at a 50% discount. *Congrats! You will have milked a cow!

While visiting the artist's studio, you learn the process of blowing glass, and basic glassblowing techniques including taking a gather, marvering, blow'n-cap, and shaping glass. The workshop is very hands-on, focused on the process instead of the final product. With experienced glass artists, you make 2 to 3 small objects such as a paperweight, ornament/float, and/or drinking glass, to take home. Glassblowing is a team work. We strongly recommend to experience this with another person. If you are solo, you may still book a spot. However, the single booker should expect to finish earlier. Best to wear a cotton top and cotton pants. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. Please bring a pair of sunglasses with you. Be prepared to be hot and sweaty, and to have fun! BYOB if you like. We'll begin with an in-depth tour of our Past Worlds gallery and end with a behind-the-scenes visit inside our Paleo Lab. In the gallery, we will talk about dinosaurs found in Utah (some known exclusively from our own collections) and explore the ecosystems and adaptations that make these animals so fascinating. Inside the Paleo Lab, we will get a sneak peek at the projects that our paleontology volunteers are working on and learn about the techniques used to prepare our most recent discoveries. The tour is for adults and teens 13 years or older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum number of participants is 10. Admission is complementary with purchase of the experience. Admission fees cannot be deducted from the package price. Tour length is approximately 2 hours or so, depending on group discussions. Face masks are optional and not required.

Do something incredibly unique, climb huge trees 100-200 ft tall, including some rare old-growth trees. Explore and learn about unique ecosystem and wildlife of trees. Once you reach the top of the canopy, enjoy an incredible view of ocean, mountains, and wildlife including bald eagles. Great for groups, teams, and team-building too! Our itinerary will consist of: 1) Meeting and introducing ourselves 2) Signing a liability waiver 3) Listening to a safety talk and gear overview 4) Participating in a climbing techniques tutorial 5) Getting geared-up and checked by your guide 6) Completing a practice climb on our demo tree 7) Walking to the more secluded climbing trees 8) Climb multiple trees, between 100 and 200 feet high. Depending on the group and the climbers' ability, you will ascend one to four trees. Climbing 20 stories up coastal Douglas fir trees offers a stunning perspective few have ever seen. A guide will be climbing with the group the entire time. 9) Enjoying the view, eat at the top of the tree like a monkey. 10) Descend the tree by rappelling 11) Smiling and high-fives We have optionable battery power ascenders for $75 extra, to climb with a push of the button, if physical ability is a concern. A fly rod is built in the same way that bamboo grows. From the bottom, or butt, to the tip. You will remove a node from a 12' culm of Tonkin bamboo, using a small hack saw, as the first step in seeing how a custom 8' node-less fly rod is made. Then you will split one of 72 splints needed to form the tip or butt of the rod with a hammer and knife. You will scarf one splint to shape it for gluing. Fancy planing, shaping the cork handle, and silk wrapping will be demonstrated along with the final varnish dip. At the end of the class you are invited to cast a variety of rods that I have made with a casting lesson on the "green river" of my lawn. In 2 hours you will see how the rod is made but you will not build a completed rod -- my first rod took me 100 hours. Other things to note Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. If you have a favorite fly reel that you want to try on a finished rod bring it along.

Then on to lunch, seafood or another cuisine at a waterfront restaurant. Following lunch we'll head back south on the coast to view some naturally occurring phenomenon's. From there we will take a short hike along a mystical hobbit trail to a picturesque beach with dramatic views. Nearby is an idyllic lighthouse where we will partake in some great photo opportunities. On this Experience we will visit modern art galleries, explore vibrant street art, and discover a wide variety of unique murals including a brief but inclusive Simpsons Mural Tour (The Eugene/Springfield area is home to over 50 Simpsons Murals!) Then we will drive roughly 80 minutes through some gorgeous countryside to the spectacular Silver Falls State Park, nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain range. There we will partake in the magic of geological history on display in the many valley's & waterfalls of this amazing region. Silver falls has no less than 10 incredible waterfalls located within a relatively small area on the Trail of Ten Falls. Some of them with such a profound geological history that you can actually walk behind them on a path and take amazing pictures! After the Waterfall Park we'll take a short 20 minute jaunt to the quaint town of Silverton for lunch and sightseeing. During the experience I will supply a thorough education of the region's geology, ecology, geography, history, and much more through my unique perspective and quirky sense of humor. !!! I will take guests around a small area in the town of Red Lodge, Montana or nearby and introduce them to wild plants! Many people think of these as weeds or simply wildflowers, but they have amazing medicinal qualities that I can share. There’s nothing quite like getting to know your backyard, urban, and forest plants and these are common all over the country as well as other countries. We will slowly walk around the neighborhood or forested area or maybe where your own Airbnb accommodations are while I ask questions and make sure the walk and talk is touching on desired subjects. I want guests to leave with knowledge they didn’t have before and appreciate how abundant these helpful plants are - for medicine or simply to make a healthier and more delicious meal.
