This magical experience starts in our meeting spot in our town Chemuyil, where we will get ready for our adventure. My town is located: -20-25 mins approx. from Tulum (downtown) -35-40 mins approx. from Playa del Carmen (downtown) -2 hrs. approx. from Cancun (downtown) If you don’t have a car, or don’t know how to get to this place, please feel free to contact me to get more recommendations on transportation you can use. This is a LOCAL EXPERIENCE. You will get to know, not only these cenotes that have seen us grow up, but places with a lot of meaning to us. We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Riding the bicycles will be, 20-25 mins(total). Distance from cenote to cenote is 5-10 mins. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. Join us for an intimate artisanal mezcal tasting & dinner pairing in our private jungle garden at our home in the center of Tulum Pueblo! Solo travelers, couples & friends are all welcome to our garden where we will prepare a 5-course dinner cooked on the fire paired with 1 ounce tastings of five artisanal, small-batch mezcals sourced from different regions around the country. We create a prix fixe menu using locally sourced ingredients for every experience and are happy to accommodate any food allergies or dietary restrictions that we are notified of in *advance*. Ancient culinary techniques, fresh ingredients, tortillas made from scratch, flavors of our traditional Mexico, everything is set and carefully curated for a cultural and gastronomical immersion to the deepest traditions and roots of our Mesoamerican civilizations. In a beautiful Mexican-style house, surrounded by gardens, our Culinary Experience starts off with a brief, yet quite informative, introduction to the essential flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine We will also do a mezcal tasting so you can learn how to identify a good one! Then, moving on to the unique experience of preparing an authentic Mexican meal from scratch! We try to always use traditional utensils, like metate and molcajete, to have a real cooking experience. Many of the dishes you will learn and help cook come from my own family’s cookbook. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food and the experience itself! This all happens in an ambiance full of joy, music and laughter, recreating the sense of fellowship and warmth of cooking at home with friends.

Aprenderás acerca de los planes de Rehabilitación, Reproducción y Reintegración de los mas de 85 animales de diferentes especies que albergamos. Tendrás un encuentro muy cercano con varios animales. Siguiendo los lineamientos de Naciones Unidas con respecto al bienestar de animales silvestres. Podrás acercarte y aprenderás con las explicaciones acerca de cada uno de ellos. Podrás conocer el árbol tóxico, el árbol doctor el árbol del chicle, y otros. Plantarás un árbol en la jungla mejorarando así tu huella ecológica. Conocerás la abeja melipona sin aguijón y podrás degustar su miel y aprender un poco mas acerca de la polinización y la vida y costumbres de este insecto declarado recientemente por la ONU el ser vivo mas importante del planeta. Tras la visita emprenderemos al melipona río nos dirigiremos a nuestra unidad de manejo ambiental para conocer de cerca las actividades e iremos por un sendero en la jungla hasta llegar a 200 metros a un magnifico cenote subterráneo donde podrás zambullirte y nadar en sus aguas iluminadas y cristalinas.

From there we will ride together to Guanabacoa, our hometown. Once there, you will learn about the influence of the Afro-Cuban religions in our cuisine while we share a typical beverage. Then, Jose´s mom will show you how to cook in our local style, having the opportunity to understand when, why, and how we prepare each dish. Finally, we will enjoy tasting the different plates that we prepared and, in that moment, when we are laughing and sharing our personal stories under the rhythm of drums, you will realize that the simple act of eating assumes mystical dimensions and has the power to bring strangers together like family. At the end of the day you will know how flavors, music and dance tell the story of the desires and struggles of our African ancestors. This experience focuses on the difficult process of making a cigar. From the hand of an experienced cigar roller we will learn to make an examplar, we will explain all the specificities that accompany the process of making this product, from the time it is grown, until it reaches your hands. This will be the perfect time for our CIGAR CHALLENGE, after which we will reward the best cigar roller of the experience. After choosing our winner (special ceremony included), we will go on to what we consider to be an authentic ritual: the smoking of the habano, action that we will combine with other delights, giving way to an excellent pairing among cigars, rum and coffee. And then, SURPRISE, a second contest!! We will be competing among each other to select the person who manages to keep the longest cigar ash, and the one who best performs some other tricks we will be teaching you. This is called: LONG ASH CONTEST. At the end of the experience more gifts will come, and that is because we do not want you to leave without taking with you souvenirs related to this experience, so you will be bringing home with you some amazing memories but also little things that will forever remind you of Cuba. We'll meet in the city center and travel to a popular neighborhood using public transportation, just as typical Cubans do. We'll walk through the community and interact with the people there so you can see what a normal day is like for the locals. We'll learn about the educational and health systems, visit and learn about historical places, and get to know and interact with small businesses that are part of the lives of the Cuban people. Together, we'll experience the daily lives and idiosyncrasies of Cubans, and learn about the main accomplishments and challenges of our economic and social reality. The day will end at my family's home, where you will get to know the story of my Cuban family, and also taste some typical drinks and snacks. After a journey, on a ground transportation, of more than 8km in the middle of the jungle, we will immerse ourselves in a cave and underground river system for a guided exploration, crossing the most surreal rock formations. Helmets well screwed on the head, and water shoes on, we will let our lights pierce the darkness and silence to make way for a world as ancient as magical. During the first part of the visit, which is mainly conducted walking and does not require any specific swimming level, you will understand the deep relationships that link the Mayan civilization and the jungle to the majestic Cenotes. Join us for an intimate artisanal mezcal tasting & dinner pairing in our private jungle garden at our home in the center of Tulum Pueblo! Solo travelers, couples & friends are all welcome to our garden where we will prepare a 5-course dinner cooked on the fire paired with 1 ounce tastings of five artisanal, small-batch mezcals sourced from different regions around the country. We create a prix fixe menu using locally sourced ingredients for every experience and are happy to accommodate any food allergies or dietary restrictions that we are notified of in *advance*. Due to the nature of the dinner, we do not disclose the menu beforehand and therefore recommend this experience for adventurous eaters. Throughout the dinner, we will talk about the differences between mezcal and tequila, the process of producing mezcal, what to look for when purchasing mezcal & how it originated. Most importantly, we’ll have a good time sharing food, drinks & conversation with new friends from all over the world! Akumal es el “Lugar de las Tortugas” en lengua Maya. Este santuario es un refugio y área protegida para las tortugas marinas. Nosotros; Martín y Melqui somos guías locales, qué crecimos desde niños en esta pequeña comunidad. Para nosotros es un privilegio llevarte a hacer snorkeling y nadar con tortugas blancas, verdes, con suerte peces de colores, arrecife de coral, rayas, calamares, y barracudas. La experiencia incluye; -Guía local. -1:30 hrs de duración. -Grupo pequeño y personalizado. -Chaleco, visor y tubo de snorkel. -Baños, duchas y lockers. -Brazalete privado para la playa, y la zona protegida de las tortugas. *Información destacable* -Las fotos y los vídeos de la galería GoPro que son tomadas en la actividad son un regalo sin coste alguno. ¿Estás list@ para cenotear? Visitaremos 2 cenotes y 1 hacienda (hermoso edificio histórico) en este día de aventura en la jungla maya y probablemente (con suerte) los tendremos solo para nosotros (según la temporada y el día) o al menos no encontraremos una multitud en ellos. (Perfecto para familias, parejas, grupos de amigos y viajeros solos). El primero es un cenote de caverna, con agua azul safiro (no fría) desde donde apreciaremos hasta el fondo del mismo. El segundo cenote es un círculo abierto de forma perfecta con una increíble agua esmeralda rodeado por árboles. Disfruta de las impresionantes vistas de estas formaciones rocosas con millones de años mientras nadas, exploras, flotas, ¡saltas desde casi 10 mts! (solo para los más aventureros) o simplemente te relajas en cada uno de estos cenotes tomando fotos. Permaneceremos de 45 mins a 1 hra (dependiendo de ti) en cada cenote, sin prisas. Our tour includes Free pictures We arrive at the meeting point, where our local team: The Turtle Travel, will assist you with the necessary snorkeling equipment, (Life jackets to your size, masks and snorkel tubes) We go ahead to the beautiful bay of Akumal, where we get an exclusive access with facilities such as bathrooms, showers and lockers which after swimming will be available for you all day long. If you do not have experience doing snorkeling we will take the necessary time to learn how to use the equipment in the correct way always making sure you guys enjoy this experience. Get the oportunity to snorkel with green turtles in their natural habitat, in the area we also will snorkel with different kind of marine species: fish, corals, rays, and differents animals that visit us for different seasons always respecting and considering a distance from marine friends, (We cannot touch or damage anything of this beautiful ecosystem) Before going to the water, we will explain everything you need to consider and respect the area and the natural habitat of the Green Turtle, remember that these marine friends are NOT in captivity. *Available in English and Spanish. *If you have any questions, please send me a message, remember that sometimes the sea conditions will not allow us to do the snorkeling but I can help you with everything you need before booking.

Gather at Lionel Groulx Metro Station and journey to a serene mountain location, setting the stage for a transformative experience. Ascent and Camp Preparation: A mindful hike up the mountain helps participants connect with nature and each other. At the summit, setting up our campsite becomes part of the ritual, preparing us for the evening's ceremony. Ayahuasca Ceremony: The ceremony begins with personal introductions and sharing of intentions, followed by guided meditation with shamanic music. The highlight is the drinking of Ayahuasca tea, which opens the door to a night of deep spiritual exploration under the stars. Reflection and Reawakening: Spend the night in contemplation, guided by the shaman. Come morning, participants find themselves renewed, sharing a light breakfast and reflecting on their insights during a gentle hike down. Return and Renewal: The experience wraps up at our starting point, with participants returning enriched and transformed, carrying forward a renewed perspective into their everyday lives. What Makes This Unique: This retreat goes beyond a typical Ayahuasca ceremony by integrating nature, meditation, and community into a holistic journey, guided by an experienced shaman in a breathtaking setting.

Departing from the St Petersburg Pier, we head south along the waterfront and into the Gulf of Mexico. After a 45 minute boat ride, guests will find themselves on the beaches of Egmont Key, an island that can only be accessed by boat. Egmont has it all, clear water, history and wildlife. Gopher tortoises roam the island, you'll be able to explore ruins from a town from the 1800s and the beaches are perfect for swimming and shelling, you can find sharks teeth too! You'll have a couple hours on the island, afterwards we'll head back towards downtown St Pete looking for dolphin. Often, the dolphin will swim in the wake of the boat just a few feet off the back!

Gear up, and learn the basics as the sun sets, and it cools off. Then enjoy the glow of the LEDs shining under your clear window to the water as you paddle through the center of downtown Austin in our most stable Crystal Kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards! Don't be surprised if we see the nightly cloud of Mexican Freetail bats leave the Congress Street Bridge at sunset or the birds do a little fishing in the light of your kayak or paddleboard. You should be surprised if you don't finish up with new found energy and confidence from paddling at night. The best musicians in the world practice at night because of how focused it makes them on their tune, and the same is true for paddling. Nothing will make you a better paddler than practicing at night with World Champion and Olympian Ben Kvanli who has been teaching and coaching since the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Other things to note You may get wet so please wear sandals and something like lycra, UnderArmor, or swimwear. Fishing pants, Columbia shirts, yoga pants and shirts are ideal examples for this easy, outdoor trip.
